Mary "Tillie" Reed was born in 1861 in St Martins, New Brunswick. She was the daughter of James Reed and Emily Good. Mary was the eighth child, out of the thirteen children that her parents had. With seven sisters, Mary had plenty of ears to listen to her worries and dreams as she grew up.
James & Mary's Marriage
Mary married John James Galbraith on the 20th of November 1889. Her parents were listed as James & Emily Reed. Robert Reed and Bertha Reed, of West Moreland Road, were witnesses to the ceremony.
Mary died young of the "dreaded flu" [1] in 1909, at the age of forty-eight.[2]
