Robert Oliver Reed was born on February 13, 1938 in Wimbledon, Surrey, England, United Kingdom, son of Peter Reed (1911–1997) and Beryl Olive Napier Andrews (1911– ).[1]
Oliver (21) married Catherine Byrne (19) (born in March, 1940 in Dublin South, Ireland) on January 2, 1960 in Kensington, London.[2] Their son was Mark Thurloe Reed (1961– ). They divorced in 1969.
In 1968, , while filming Oliver!, Oliver met Jacqueline Daryl, a dancer who was also in the film. They began a relationship and subsequently had a daughter, Sarah Reed.
Oliver (47) married Josephine M Burge (21) (born in April, 1964 in Surrey South Western, Surrey) on September 7, 1985 in Epsom, Surrey.
Oliver died on May 2, 1999 in Valletta, Malta, aged 61. He was buried in Bruhenny Graveyard, Buttevant, County Cork.[3]
