Biography

William Reed, born approximately in 1650, in of Fairfield, Connecticut Colony.^[1][2] Estimate based on Deborah Baldwin's birth year of 1652 (his wife).

In 1673, he married Deborah Baldwin, born in 1652, daughter of Nathaniel Baldwin and Joanna Adams ^[1]; and had the following children:

1. Sarah Reed
2. Abigail Reed, b. March 1, 1677
3. John Reed, b. Jan 29, 1679 (graduated from Harvard College)

He died in 1697.^[1][3]

Research Note

John Reed-2625 and his wife Ann had been linked as parents of the Willliam, but have been disconnected. John and Ann married about 1664, so this William cannot have been their son.
