Biography

Sarah was born in 1715, a daughter of Thomas and Hannah Reed.[1]

Sarah Reed married Abiah Whitman on 3 May 1739 in Weymouth, Massachusetts [2].

This marriage is also recorded in the book Colonial Families of the USA, 1607-1775 [3] This reference makes it clear that this is Abiah's second marriage. His first marriage was to Ruth Pittee on 28 Oct 1715.

She died in 1715 and was buried at North Weymouth Cemetery, Weymouth, Norfolk County, Massachusetts[4]
