Stanley was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.



Stanley Clair Reed was born to Eva Almira (Carson) Reed (1887-1931) and Clark Donald Reed (1878-1951) on 7 June 1909 in Milford, Beaver, Utah, United States.[1]

In the 1910 census Stanley (age 0) was the son of Clark Reed in Star, Beaver, Utah, United States.[2]

Stanley (age 27) married Frances Williamson (age 24) on 11 July 1936 in White Pine, Nevada, United States.[7] This was her second marriage, and Stanley's first marriage. She had two children from her first marriage.

The couple had one child, who is still living, and she was born on 3 January 1940 in White Pine, Nevada, United States.[8]


In the 1940 census Stanley (age 30) was the married head of household in McGill, White Pine, Nevada, United States.[9]His step-daughter Betty Williamson is listed as his daughter.

The family is found in the 1940 The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints census - France's daughters from her first marriage are listed as Stanley's children with the last name of Reed, but there is no evidence their name was legally changed.[10]


Stanley registered for the World War II Draft on October 16th, 1940 in Mcgill, White Pine, Nevada, United States.[11]

In the 1950 census Stanley (age 40), was working as an Interior Painter, and was the married head of household in Olive, Orange, California, United States.[12]

Stanley and Frances were divorced on January 2nd, 1952.

Stanley died (age 82) on 14 June 1991 in Los Angeles, California, United States.[13]
