There has been some confusion amongst family trees regarding Hannah's father--if Eldad or Medad. This confusion has come from the existence of Family Data records, available on ancestry. One shows Medad as the father of Hannah, and there is another one that names Eldad and Jane as the parents. These sources are not cited for the reasons stated here.
What is shown on this profile reflects the available evidence: Medad Reed (brother of Eldad) was the father of Hannah, shown above as bondsman for her marriage to Cortland Skinner. (As well, they named a son Medad.)
There is no evidence, however, for the marriage of Medad to Jane Whitaker. She was the wife of Eldad, as several records attest.
