I am Seth Reeder, a descendant of the Robert Reader III lineage that left Blacktoft, Yorkshire for Mecklenburg County, Virginia. Descendants of this line were among the early settlers of Overton County, Tennessee, branches can be found throughout Overton County, TN and the Midwestern United States. Information about my lineage has been obtained from first hand records in the form of parish registers, land deeds, last will and testament, etc. I've done extensive DNA testing (Y-DNA, mtDNA and autosomal) with FTDNA, 23andMe, and BritainsDNA. We belong to a rare subclade of R1b known as R1b-DF99/R1b-S11987.
