Margaret Rees was born about 1812 in Margam, Glamorgan, Wales.
She married Edward Edwards 1 August 1835 in Margam, Glamorgan, Wales.
In the England and Wales Census of 1841 she is age 28, living in Margam with her husband Edward (age 30), daughter Mary (age 5), daughter Margaret (age 2), infant son Thomas, and William Jenkin (age 37).
In the England and Wales Census of 1851 she is age 39, living in Margam with her husband Edward (age 40), a Collier, daughter Mary (age 15), daughter Margaret (age 12), Elizabeth (age 6), daughter Catherine (age 2), and Thomas Edward (age 11), a Tin Man, who is Edwards daughter's son.
In the England and Wales Census of 1861 she is age 49, living in Margam with her husband Edward (age 51), a Haulier, son Thomas (age 20), daughter Elizabeth (age 20), and daughter Catherine (age 12).
