Biography
When Sarah Reese was born on February 2, 1778, in Mecklenburg, North Carolina, her father, James, was 38 and her mother, Elizabeth, was 29. She married Silas Alexander in 1798 in Sumner, Tennessee. They had 13 children in 22 years. She died on November 22, 1839, in Maury, Tennessee, at the age of 61, and was buried there.
