Noah was born 5 February 1886[1] at Eupora, Miss. to Richard Washington Reeves and Mary Etta Stewart. He was married to Agnes Ida Flieth on 7 April 1920. Noah died on 2 May 1953 and is buried at the Highland Park Cemetery in Highland Hills, Cuyahoga, Ohio.[2]

Military

Marines aboard the USS North Carolina

Noah joined the US Marine Corps on 2 Dec. 1907[1] in Carrollton, Georgia.

Early in his service, Noah sailed on the USS North Carolina] (May 21-Nov. 29, 1908, and April 22, 1909-June 19, 1911), crossing the international dateline on 2 April 1910.

On January 18, 1909 he arrived in Cuba aboard the USS Prairie; leaving April 21, 1909. He was there during the Cuban Pacification, a U.S. operation to protect U.S. economic interests in Cuba during an unstable government shift.

Noah was appointed a marine gunner in the Marine Corps with the rank of warrant officer in the Navy on July 10, 1918. He was Regiment/Unit Trainer on the Rifle Range at Parris Island, South Carolina.

Noah was assigned to the Marine Baracks at Parris Island, South Carolina during much of his military career. He was on the Marine Corps Shooting Team and won several competitions over his military career.

Noah attained the rank of Warrant Officer and after coming out of retirement in 1942 for WWII he finally retired on 6 Nov. 1945. His service included many campaigns; such as the Great White Fleet, Cuba, Haiti, and Master Gunnery Sergeant on the rifle range[3] at Parris Island, South Carolina.
