James was born about 1703. He was the son of William Rives and Martha Wiley. He passed away in 1781.

In 1781, James Reves and his wife Milissent [sic] are listed in Guilford county, North Carolina. (Note: Guilford county was established in 1771) Children of James and Milissent are: Malachi, Jeremiah, William, Elizabeth Holmes, Judith Moon, Delilah Russell

There are some obvious errors with this profile the first three children originally listed Jonathon Dearbon Reeves, James Reeves and Malachai Reeves have been unlinked from John Reeves and Elizabeth (Sanders ) Reeves they are before the marriage and before the mother was 9 years old.

I removed Isaac Samuel and his wife they are not his parents, I had entered the wrong parents for him.
