Biography

Ruth was born in 1875. In the 1880 census Ruth (age 5) was the daughter of James Reeves in Bedford, Taylor, Iowa, United States.^[1]

Ruth married Josiah Harrison Matheny; son of John Collins Matheny). Their daughter was Ruby Willmina Matheny (1901–1961).

Ruth died on 14 February 1976 and was buried in Platteville Cemetery, Platteville, Taylor County, Iowa, United States.^[2]
