Biography
Born in North Carolina, moved with her parents to Tennessee, where she married about 1834 (based on age of oldest known child) Joshua Cross.
They removed to Randolph, Arkansas by 1850.[1]
- Note: A findagrave memorial for one Lucinda Reeves Cross , without source or gravestone photo or identification of parents, gives her death as 30 Apr 1859 (in Arkansas). This clearly should have been a "before" date and represents Isom's daughter. However, that same memorial claims her husband was Joshua Ham Cross, not Charles Urias Cross as claimed (also without source) here. This is supported by the 1850 census
Deceased after 1850 when she appears in the 1850 census and by 30 Apr 1859 when so implied by father's will of that date.
