Thomas Reeves was probably the son of George Reeves and Ann Doggett, whom was named in his father's will. Thomas is usually reported as having been born 17 Oct 1719 in Northumberland County, Colony of Virginia. Extensive research on Thomas, with sources, is available at The Reeves Project: https://thereevesproject.org/data/tiki-index.php?page=Reeve_Thomas_4450. Based on that research, it is likely Thomas died in Georgia about April 1787.
Thomas is said to have been married twice; first to Jane and second to Sarah. No marriage records have been found to confirm dates or maiden names. One child is attributed to Thomas and Jane: Elijah Reeves (abt.1740-1816). Two children are attributed to Thomas and Sarah: John and Spencer.
Witt-1888 23:15, 23 July 2022 (UTC): The Reeves Project has extensive, well-sourced, research on the various Thomas Reeves who resided in Prince Williams County. They concluded Thomas Reeves, named as son in the will of George Reeves, is likely the Thomas Reeves who moved to Georgia where he died about April 1787. There is some uncertainty, so I've marked his profile accordingly. Thank you to the contributors of this remarkable research.
