Biography

Martin was born in February of 1853. He was the son of John Reeves and Caroline Lovejoy and he is listed with them on the 1860 Census in Monroe, New York with three siblings: Alma (9), Margaret (4), and Willis (2). ^[1] In 1877 he married Delia Painton (1859–1943). ^[2] They are listed together on the 1880 Census in Victor, Ontario, New York. ^[3] They had at least one daughter, Janice Carrie Reeves (born in 1898) and are listed as her parents in her marriage record in 1921 to Clifford Blair MacNeill. ^[4] Martin passed away in 1908 in Victor, Ontario County, New York around the age of 54 and is buried in Boughton Hill Cemetery. ^[5]
