Biography

William was born in 1807 in Kentucky (according to information he listed on the 1860 Census).

William married Martha "Patsy" Brown on October 29, 1829 in Howard, Missouri. ^[1] Martha passed away at the age of 18 about a month after their marriage.

On December 13, 1831 he married Hannah Ann Givens in the same location of Howard, Missouri. ^[2] He is listed with Hannah on the 1860 Census in Monitaw Township, Howard, Missouri with eight children:

He passed away in 1886 at the age of 79 and is buried in Patton Cemetery in Fayette, Howard County, Missouri.^[4]
