DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA. However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line. It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:

I am still seeking a copy of the 1 March 1883 letter from Rev. Joseph Robertson of Bozeman, MT to his 1st cousin, once removed, Atty. George Robertson od Mexico, MO.

That letter has been cited by everyone and his monkey's uncle, but nobody seems to have the original or a direct copy (photograph or Photocopy) of the original letter. Plenty of transcriptions floating around, but they are of unknown veracity, as is the general nature of such "copies".

A transcription is an indication, a "road map", of some genealogical data, but is proof of nothing. Hopefully the actual letter exists somewhere (if the young ones didn't trash granny's papers when they cleaned out her house following her demise!)

Register-326 and Register-7 appear to represent the same person because: I seem to have accidentally created a new listing for this man.

Chance-26 and Register-7 do not represent the same person because: I think this must have been a mistake, one is male , one is female. nothing else matches.
