François Charles and his wife Colombe Renault (or Regnault) are named on the baptism of their son Estienne in 1643. Their marriage was on 8 November 1637 in Villejuif (St-Cyr-et-Ste-Julitte) in Île-de-France (Val-de-Marne 94076).[1] (see notes)
To be noted: the presence of the wife of Baptiste Charles as godmother of Estienne. Likely related.
Son:
Estienne Charles est baptisé le jeudi onzième du mois de juin 1643 à Villejuif (St-Cyr-et-Ste-Julitte), en île-de-France (Val-de-Marne), fils de François Charles et de Colombe Renault. They are both cited as deceased on their son's marriage contract of 21 October 1667 in New France.[4]
Notes
The marriage record for François and Colombe appears to be lost, French archives for Val-de-Marne note that there are years missing in this period.[5]
