Biography

Agnes Adelaide Reid (married name Holmes) was born on 31 October 1863 in Ballarat, Victoria, Australia, the daughter of Robert Reid and Adelaide Helen (Holmes) Reid.^[1][2]

She married her first cousin William Henry Carter Holmes on 18 April 1892 in Victoria.^[3] Their children were:

• Adelaide May Holmes (1893–1978)^[4]
• Lawrence Carter Holmes (1902–1994)^[5]

William died in 1928.^[6]

Agnes died on 13 May 1942 in Essendon, Victoria.^[7][8] Her remains were interred at Korumburra Cemetery, Section M Allotment 138.^[2]
