Research Note

Previous links on the profile were either broken or referenced another Joseph Reid.

This Joseph does not appear in any baptismal records for the children of Thomas Reid. He may NOT be a child of Thomas but possibly a nephew or other relative. The statement in the bible that he was married at Thomas Reid's does not prove a father-son relationship.

Reid-3410 and Reid-8523 appear to represent the same person because: Accidental duplicate - Reid-3410 did not auto-populate when I created my Joseph Reid, husband of Ann Gordon. Sorry!
Reid-4538 and Reid-3410 appear to represent the same person because: Parts of Virginia later became part of West Virginia.
