Battalion in Arras.
10am: Battalion moved off to take over line at 1-3.
12am: Took over from 7th Cammerons (3 Coys) & 8/10 Gordons (D Coy).
Disposition A Coy in front line right of railway in 1-3 sector.
B Coy in reserve to Coy in support. C Coy took over cemetery defences.
20th April
Disposition as above. Weather wet and cloudy. Enemy and own artillery fairly active. Battalion HQ hit twice by shell fire.
21st April
Very wet and fairly strong N.W. wind. Artillery very active at intervals. A Coy took over cemetery defences. C Coy took over front line.
22nd April
Fair weather & very clear. Intense bombardment of enemey trenches in the morning and strong retaliation by the Germans later.
23rd April
Relieved by .. In billets in Arras at 1pm.
Casulaties for the tour: OR (Other Ranks) 4 killed.
