Biography
Named for her great-grandmother, Murdina (Boog) Scott who lived in Elie, Fife, Scotland. Dena Reid's parents were born in Fife, Scotland and emigrated to the U.S. in 1870, via Glasgow where her brother Andrew was born and Liverpool, England where her brother James was born. The family settled in Elmira, New York.
