WEDDING REPORT. LEARMONTH-COX. The marriage of Mr. Lestock Livingstone Learmonth, youngest son of the late Mr. Somerville Livingstone Learmonth, Cosham, Stokes, Hants, England, and Miss Marcia Lillian Cox, fourth daughter of Dr. James Cox, Craig Crook, North Sydney, took place at St. James's, King-street, Sydney, on Wednesday, August 10, in the presence of a large and fashionable assemblage. The church was decorated by girl friends of the bride with palms, white flowers, and arum lilies. The Rev. J. Carr Smith officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore white satin duchesse, the skirt trimmed with lovers' knots in chiffon, deep Hounce of old Honiton lace, and Court train. The yoke and sleeves of the bodice were of tucked chiffon trimmed with Honiton lace and pearl and silver passementerie; veil of Honiton lace; diamond ornaments; bouquet of orchids and white flowers, gifts of the bridegroom. The bridesmaids were Miss Margaret and Miss Jennie Cox, Miss Mary Clarke (daughter of Janet Lady Clarke), Miss Charlotte Osborne, Miss Alison Learmonth (niece of the bridegroom), and Miss Hope Alison (niece of the bride). Miss Clara Manning was also to have acted as bridesmaid, but owing to the death of her father was unable to do so. The bridesmaids wore white mousseline-de-soie, over white glace silk, the skirts trimmed with small frills, headed with narrow satin bebe ribbon. The bodices were latticed with ecru insertion, deep collars edged with lace and rucked beue ribbon, were "V-shaped at the neck, and were finished off with bows of mousseline-de-soie; sashes of mauve mousseline-de-soie, fastened at the waist with paste buckles. Hats of yellow straw and chiffon, caught up in front with rosettes of white chiffon, Parma violets, and large white ostrich feathers. Bouquets of dark and light Parma violets, tied with white, violet, and mauve ribbon, gifts of the bridegroom, who also gave them pearl and gold chain bangles; hearts of blue enamel, with ; M.C. and L.L. in diamonds. Master Kenneth Alison and Master James Livingstone Learmonth were pages. They were dressed in white satin Directoire coats, with soft muslin vests, and cravats of Brussels lace, white shoes, stockings, and three-cornered white felt bats. After the ceremony the guests adjourned to the residence of Dr. and Mrs. Arthur Cox, Wiston, Darling Point, where breakfast was served. Later in the afternoon the bride and bridegroom left for their honeymoon. The bride's travelling-dress was of fawn canvas,trimmed with narrow Valenciennes lace, vest of turquoise blue chiffon; toque of fawn straw, trimmed with chiffon, lace, and turquoise blue velvet.
