There is a headstone in the cemetery in Dunblane which has John Reid, farmer in Auchinlay, died April 1850 and his wife Isabella Crawford died 1 Jan 1853 and Robert Reid - However John is clearly still alive in early 1851 because he is listed in the 1851 census. It is probable that the headstone was made after Isabella and Robert's death and John's death year incorrectly remembered. Robert was probably another son.
