Biography
Ann Gorton born at Warwick, February 19, 1696, married, February 16, 1722, Daniel Remington, born at Warwick 1689, died at Warwick March 12, 1787, son of Thomas and Mary (Allen) Remington. Daniel Remington was a ship carpenter and builder. (p. 178)
Children: Mary Remington, born Aug. 17, 1725, married Holden Rhodes, born at Warwick, May 20, 1731, son of Major and Catharine (Holden) Rhodes. (p. 178; p. 204) [1] (p. 591) [2]
Holden Rhodes, son of Major John and Catherine (Holden) Rhodes was born May 20, 1731 in Warwick: died there in 1774; married Mary Remington born August 17, 1725. They had but one child, son Holden born September 22, 1750 in Warwick; died February 1, 1809; married March 12, 1769 Susanna Wall who was born 1750 and died March 16, 1800. (p. 511)[3]
