Stephen was born January 5, 1776. He is one of twins, his twin brother being Charles. Stephen is the son of Charles Renaud and Mary Magdelene Bertrand. He married Teresa Beneteau on 17 Nov 1794 and together they had 13 children. He passed away in 1859. [1] He died November 25, 1859, at the age of 83, in what is now called Amherstburg, Essex, Ontario, Canada.
