Biography
Mathurin (Renault) Renaud migrated from France to New France.

Mathurin Renault was baptized on 14 October 1641 in Ars-en-Ré (St-Étienne), Aunis (Charente-Maritime), son of Mathurin Renaut and of Gabrielle Roustye.[1]
Mathurin Renault is first mentioned in the country in 1662 when he arrived with his mother and her second husband.[1]
Marriage
Mathurin Renaut married Marie Pelletier, daughter of François Pelletier and Michelle Lechalle, on 7 October 1669 in Notre-Dame de Québec, Canada, Nouvelle-France.[2]
He passed away before 29 September 1677.[1]
