Will

Will was written 10 Feb 1868

I John Renfro do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First. I direct that my funeral expenses and all my debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of any moneys that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my Executor. Secondly! I give and bequeath to my son William B. Renfro, that portion of my land which contains my dwelling house and out house where I now live beginning at John W. Alexanders South East corner, also the South West corner of a 65 acre tract belonging to the heirs of Wm Robinson, Deceased. running west with said Alexanders line, eighty five yards, thence South to the North Boundary line of a tract of land purchased by me from A G Youngblud, thence East with said line passing A. L. Pillows heirs corner to my East boundary, thence North my line to a corner in a tract of land sold by S. H. Wright to A.L. Pillow. thence West, with Pillows line to his corner, thence North with Pillows line to the South East corner of 65 acre tract in the name of Wm Robinsons heirs - thence with said heirs line to the beginning. Thirdly ! I give and bequeath to my son Rufus R. Renfro, all my land in Lawrence County Tennessee: which I purchased from my son Jesse Renfro to which I hold his deed bearing date the 24th day of September 1860, Registered on pages 888 & 89, book O. of Lawrence County Tennessee, to which reference may be made for boundareys, containing Two hundred and Sixty four acres. Fourthly! I give and bequeath to my daughter Lavinia Huckaby wife of John Huckaby, all the wright which vested in me by the sale of the Sheriff of Maury County Tenn some years ago. I also give to her all demands which She may owe me by any and all kinds of debts or claims as to her dower, or otherwise owing to me: by her the said Lavinia Huckaby. Fiftly. I give to my other heirs the proceeds of all my other real estate: my stock, my money and assets. as the laws of Tennessee may direct the same. Lastly. I do hereby nominate and appoint William D. Benderman my executor. I Witness whereof, I do to this my will, set my hand and seal. This 10th day of February 1868.
