Elizabeth was born in 1791. Elizabeth Rennise ... Have also seen last name spelled as Renick . Trying to verify last names spelling . I find no one being born , or deaths in west Virginia with the last name Rennise . Only the marraige record shows the name spelled as such .[1]
The records of Randolph county, W. VA show that 25 Feb 1790 George Rennix married Judith Westfall and that he was in Beverly in Jun 1800. The Rennick family left Wood county 18 Dec 1818 for the West. (No children are listed)[2]
Note: by Vicki Norman The source above for Gibbens states that George & Judith has no children; cannot verify Rootsweb source since site is down, but this seems to conflict with the Gibbens source regarding Elizabeth.

I want to detach parents George Renick (Renick-213) and Judith Westfall from this profile (Elizabeth Renick). 2 sources agree that her parents were George Renick (Renick-96) of Wood County & Mary Maxell of Lewis County.
The dates on the birth of the parents just doesn't seem correct. . Going by your profile dates on Elizabeth's parents ,Mary's parents were in their sixties? George would have been 64 and Mary 62 ? Mine show George being born on different date and would have been 30 years old by my info. We'll get it figured out . Still thinking/wondering, there may be a missing generation named George jr?
Think I have solved the mystery: George Renick was married to both Mary Maxwell and Judith Westfall. According to the Gene Butcher site, George and Judith had no children. I can find not other records of the last name of Rennise (must have been transcription variation). Please review addtl sources on Elizabeth & Peyton's profiles so we can move forward with the merge. Thank you so much for your input
Rennise-3 and Renick-299 appear to represent the same person because: Rennick is proper LNAB, father George should have last name Rennick, same birth dates on Elizabeth
Rennise-3 and Renick-113 are not ready to be merged because: These two profiles look like the same person. But the parents need to be cleared up. They seem to be different generations based on birth and death dates.
Rennise-3 and Rennise-1 appear to represent the same person because: Sydney-Smith and Claggett-Price Genealogy, Lucy Montgomery Smith Price, 1927, shows spelling of last name as "Renick" The two spellings need to be reconciled, but the two profiles are of the same person.
