Hi David - I hope you are well. Would you please accept the Trusted List request for Richard Hawkins which I sent you on 29 June on behalf of the England Project. Many thank, Jo. England Project Managed Profiles coordinator.
As part of the cleanup of Welsh patronymics we are trying to eliminate the use of Verch.
ferch (no capital), meaning "daughter of" should be part of the LNAB. For example Angharad "ferch Llewellyn". This would have been retained when married, although "gwraig Meredydd" might have been added to distinguish Angharad from another of the same patronymic.
Please can you correct this on your profiles, or open them to me so that I can change them for you.
Many thanks and all best wishes for the New Year.
Steve
I sent you a message a while ago on behalf of the Germany Project and have yet to hear back from you. I hope you are well.
If I dont hear from you in the next week or so Ill assume you no longer wish to be in the project and go ahead and remove you. You would, of course, be most welcome to rejoin at any time via the G2G sign-up post.
On behalf of the Germany Project, I am currently undergoing our member check-in's and wanted to verify that you are still interested in being a member of the project. Are you currently assigned to or working with one of our Sub-projects or Teams? We have many new teams so have a look on the Germany project page for the full list. I would be delighted to help you get setup in one or more of our collaborative teams!
We use Google groups for project collaboration, so if you are not yet setup, please submit a join request and we will get that approved as quickly as possible. We also ask that you check your follwed tags to make sure you are following the correct project tag (GERMANY) so you don't miss any disucssions in G2G.
We really appreciate your contributions on WikiTree, and thank you for all your hard work. If you have any questions please ask. I would also love to hear any feedback you may have for the project!
Please respond by private message. I look forward to hearing from you soon!
David, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add
{{ Languages | en | fr-2 | ga-1 }}
to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, intermediate French and basic Irish, or you could use de-4 to specify near-native German or ru-1 for basic Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.
It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:
Hi David! I was wondering if there were a problem - I've sent several trusted list requests to profiles you manage with no response. Should I ask again? Thanks!
Birth 11 Oct 1698 in Spielberg, Calw, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany
Death 22 Mar 1775 in Spielberg, Calw, Baden-Wuerttemberg, Germany
She married Hans Adam Stickel. Not sure if related?
I saw the comment on the rejection of John and Johnathan. They have the same parents, same birth info and all, including same name.
I have never seen two brothers born on the same date, with the same info and the parents named them the same name. I really think they are the same person. I hope maybe you can agree to the merge. It is clear they are the same.
Hi there David , I know you are already involved in a lot already.................but
We are really happy that you took the Pre-1700 certification Quiz. Thank
you for doing your part to make WikiTree an accurate and openly
collaborative place for genealogists to share their research.
Do you have some 1700's people in your tree already ? Now that you have the
badge, you can take part in one of our
historical projects.
David, was doing some research and ran across this record (You have a Robina Lockhart) that you manage, but a little later. Since it was such a unique name (There is also an Ellen Robina Lockhart but later in the USA) I thought you might be interested...maybe find a link?
