Lindsay Resnick was born in Manhattan, New York to Lisa Levine Resnick and Nathan Resnick. She lived in Manhasset, Long Island until her brother David was born in 1994. The family then moved to Jericho, also on Long Island, where they lived until 2005.
In 2005, at age 14, Lindsay moved to Roswell, Georgia, where she enrolled at Centennial High School, graduating in 2009. During her senior year of high school, Lindsay enrolled in the Advanced Academy of Georgia, a joint-enrollment program offered for high school students at the University of West Georgia in Carrollton.
She attended college at the Georgia Institute of Technology, from which she graduated with a bachelor's degree in "History, Technology, and Society" in 2013. She earned her Master of Heritage Preservation degree from Georgia State University, with a concentration in Public History, in May 2015.
An archivist at a local museum, Lindsay resides in Brookwood, Atlanta, Georgia with her dog, a Jack Russell Terrier named Sunflower.
