Biography
Sarah Jane Reynolds, daughter of John Frances Reynolds and Sarah Rebecca Jenkins, was born about 1746 in North Carolina.
She married Joseph Porter, about Jan 1759 in Wilkes County, North Carolina.
Her husband. Joseph Porter died in 1820. His will was written in April 1820 and proved in court during the October term the same year. Three children were mentioned: Joseph Porter Jr, Francis Porter and Molly Porter. Sarah was not mentioned, indicating that she preceded him in death and prior to April 1820, when his will was written. [1]
