Note: Epaphroditus Rhodes bought land in Albemarle County, Virginia, November 17, 1772--Deed Book 6--300 a. from Geo. Waller near Advance Mills, Virginia on Jacobs Run. Also in Deed Book 12 on Aug. 21, 1780, he bought 200 a. from Thomas Johnson and William Sims bordering on his other property. Epaphroditus Rhodes divided his land among his 4 sons. This land information is shown in the Albemarle County Deed Books of the period.
Jan. 19, 1797 to Reuben--95 a. and 20 pounds.
Jan. 13, 1797 to John--101 3/4 a. 20 pounds and a gift.
Jan. 19, 1797 to Hezekiah--114 a. 20 pounds and a gift.
