1850 - United States Federal Census - In 1850, Gregory Rhodes, 27, was living in District 2 of Ohio County, Kentucky, with his wife Margaret M. Rhodes, 23. Also in the family were their children Sarah Rhodes, 3, and William F. Rhodes, 1. Gregory was a farmer.[1]
1860 - United States Federal Census - In the 1860 census, Gregory Roads, 38, and his wife, Margarett M. Roads, 34, are living in Ellis, Ohio County, Kentucky, where he continued to farm Their growing family includes Sarah A. Roads, 13; William Roads, 11; Charles R. Roads, 9; Rachel T. Roads, 7; Romalda Roads, 5; Syrilda J. Roads, 4 and Sophrona Roads, six months.[2]
