Audie was born about 1900. He is the son of Audrick Rhodes and Margaret Burdett.

Timeline

1900 - United States Federal Census - In the 1900 census, Audrich W. Rhodes, 28, is living with his wife, Maggie Rhodes, 37, in Pigeon, Vanderburgh, Indiana. Living with them are their children, Ray Rhodes, 7, and Audie, 5 months. Audie is working as a carpenter.[1]

1910 - United States Federal Census - In 1910, Audrick is enumerated as Arthur W. Rhodes, 47, living in Magisterial District 8 in Daviess County, Kentucky, with his wife Margarette Rhodes, 47; and two sons, Roy Rhodes, 17 and Audie Rhodes, 10. Audrick is a house carpenter. His son, Roy is working as a laborer in a carriage factory.[2]

September 12, 1918 - World War I Draft Registration - His registration shows he is not living with his wife, and his nearest relative would appear to be his mother, Margaret, who is liviing in Owensboro with whom he is living. His occupation is listed as a laborer.[3]
