Loudema Tate born 12 Apr 1882, Scott County, Virginia, her father, Robert Bob Jefferson Tate (1859–1932) and her mother, Amanda C Rhodes (1859–1927). She had a child, Earl Jefferson Tate. She died 18 May 1964, Scott, Virginia and buried in Loudema Tate Cemetery, Duffield, Scott County, Virginia, Also known as Deemie Tate Cemetery.
