Lieutenant Colonel Henry Rhodes II served with Onslow County Regiment, North Carolina Militia during the American Revolution.

Henry Rhodes II is a DAR Patriot Ancestor, A095978.

Henry Rhodes was one of the two sons who were named in 1751 court minutes regarding their father, Henry Rhodes' will (Henry's brother was named Thomas). Henry Rhodes become Sheriff of Onslow County (1759), Commissioner of the Peace (1772), and a Court Justice (1772).[1]
