Biography

Lois Rhodes was born on May 1, 1775 in Marlborough, New Hampshire. She was daughter ofEbenezer Rhodes and Sarah Page. ^[1]

Timothy Bemis and Lois Rhoads married on 03 Jun 1795. ^[2]

They settled on the home farm. In 1812 he moved with his family to Malone, New York. The last four of her thirteen children were born Malone, New York. ^[3]

In 1840 her became blind and remained so until his death on May 24, 1848. Lois Rhodes Bemis died Aug 2, 1856 ^[3] or Aug 21, 1856 [according to Find A Grave], and is buried at Webster Street Cemetery in Malone, New York. ^[4]
