Nancy Rhorer came with her parents from Germany. They were agriculturists and stock raisers. When they landed in America they sought the productive and prosperous section in Maryland. Nancy was a large, strong woman and a noted singer in her day. She was a great lover of home and family and died in Kentucky in 1813.
