The spouse of Ignatius Goulding was Elizabeth Goodwin daughter of Capt. James Goodwin and his first wife Mary Mansfield. On 20 June 1776, Sarah Goodwin (Sarah Abbott the second wife of James Goodwin) relict of James Goodwin of Worcester, gentleman, deceased, in consideration of £266.7.11, relinquished her right of dower in the estate to James Goodwin, Joseph Goodwin, and John Goodwin, sons of the deceased, to Ignatius Goulding and Elizabeth Goulding his wife in her right, to Samuel Bridge and Mary Bridge is wife in her right, to Rebecca Goodwin, and to Tabitha Goodwin, daughters of the deceased James.[1]
