Biography

Mellie was the daughter of of William O. Rice and Melissa B. Robertson.^[1] She married Frank Sherman Stevens.^[2] Their children were:

1. Hazel Stevens 1890–1960

2. William O. Stevens 1891–1974

3. Anna Stevens 1892–1925

4. Mertie Mistie Stevens 1896–1896

5. Effa L. Stevens 1904–1981

6. Mary E. Stevens 1907–1979

7. Elmer J. Stevens 1908–1988

Frank and Mellie raised their family in Albion, Michigan.^[3] Mellie died in 1932^[4] and is buried in Riverside Cemetery, Albion, Calhoun, Michigan.^[5]
