I edited the profiles of Miriam (Rice-7770) and Miriam (Rice-7441) to match what is presented on the page from the Edmund Rice association: http://www.edmund-rice.org/era5gens/p31.htm#i2923 , since there is no primary source which shows otherwise.

It seems more likely to me that Eliphalet Warren, from Westborough, would marry a girl from the adjacent town of Marlborough, rather than a girl from Brookfield, about 25 miles away. Since that is pure speculation, I'll go with the other story, but I feel the evidence is not strong for that case either.

I believe that two Miriam Rice's (who were cousins) have been confused.

This is the Miriam who married Eliphalet Warren: Rice-7441 (the daughter of Peter Rice/Dinah Walker)

This Miriam (Rice-7770) was a daughter of Abraham Rice/Persis Robinson but died at the age of nine in 1753. I believe her birth date may be correct on this profile but the death date and marriage fact incorrect. The two Miriams are summarized on this page from the Edmund Rice association: http://www.edmund-rice.org/era5gens/p31.htm#i2923

This could be fixed removing Rice-7770 as a wife to Eliphalet and mother to John. Then the death date for Rice-7770 could be adjusted to 22 Jan 1753, Marlborough.

Then Rice-7441 can be attached to Eliphalet as a spouse and to John as a mother.
