Susanna was born about 1707 in New Kent County, Virginia Colony. She was the daughter of Thomas Rice and Marcy. She passed away about 1785 in Orange County, North Carolina.
The only evidence linking Susanna as a daughter of Thomas Rice is the statement that she was the "aunt of the Rev. Daniel [sic s/b David] Rice, of the Presbyterian Church, who settled in Kentucky in the year 1781."[1] The Rev. David Rice was the son of David Rice, grandson of Thomas Rice; Susanna is therefore implied to be the sister of David Rice, Sr
