"Two of the smartetst men to be found on the Cape of their age are Captains Mulford Rich and Joshua Freeman, aged respectively 82 and 79, both of whom were seen raking quahaugs in our bay one day last week."

From what I can find, Jerusha, Betsey, Delia, Jemima, Joshua, and Ruth were aunts and uncles, not the children of Rich/Bicknell. Their parents were Rich/Dyer. The balance of the children listed on this profile (Eliza, Benjamin... through John) were the Rich/Bicknell children. Good luck!
