Biography

Jeanne was born in 1694. She was the daughter of Alexandre Richard and Isabelle Petitpas. [1] She was age 4 on the 1698 census of Port Royal. [2] She was also recorded at age 5 in the 1700 census. [3]

Jeanne Richard married Jean Pierre Dupuis, son of the late Pierre Dupuis and Madeleine Landry, on 6 January 1720 in Port Royal. Jeanne's father is listed as deceased on the marriage record. Signed by Michel RIchard and Guillaume Blanchard.[4][5][6]
