Biography
Hugh was born about 1833 in Stirlingshire, Scotland. He was the son of James Richardson and Mary McGowan.
In 1841 Hugh was living in Bannockburn, Stirlingshire with his parents and siblings. [1]
In 1851 Hugh was living at Mill of Torr, Kincardine, Perthshire. He was employed as a Miller by the Middleton family.[2]
