Biography

Samuel Richardson was born in Cambridge, Massachusetts in 1780. He was son of Edward and Anne. ^[1]

The death record of his daughter Charlotte (Richardson) Bean ^[2]provides the following information:

Father's Birthplace: Cambridge, Massachusetts

Mother's Birhtplace: Watertown, Massachusetts

On 1 Mar 1806, Samuel Richardson of Jay, Maine, and Elizabeth Goding of Livermore, Maine, (both then in Massachusetts) published at Livermore their intention to marry.^[3] Elizabeth Goding and Samuel Richardson were married in Jay, Maine on 28 Mar 1806. ^[4]

Samuel died at East Livermore, Maine on 8 Jun 1864 ^[6] and he is buried there. ^[7] Unsourced data says his children were:

11. Charles W. b. June 11, 1827; m. Abbie A. Bean, July 1, 1852. He d. Sept. 1868. No children.
12. William, b. June 7, 1829; d. 1830.
