She married Joshua Veranus Walton about 1838. They were the parents of ten known children.
Betsey (Richardson) Walton is buried at the Jay Hill Cemetery in Jay, Maine, where her gravestone gives her date of birth as 13 Apr 1817 and her date of death as 30 Sep 1896.[2]
