Solomon Richardson was born on 21 Apr 1716, [ not April 4, as in Morse's Genealogy ] in Medway, Suffolk County, Massachusetts Bay Colony.[1] He lived in his native Medway until 1755, at which time he removed to Brookfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Solomon was the son of John Richardson and Esther (Breck) Richardson, also from Medway.
Marriage
Solomon married Rebecca Munnon 09 Jun 1741, in Deerfield, Massachusetts Bay Colony. Together, Solomon and Rebecca had a total of nine children during their marriage.

1. Rebecca Richardson, b. 05 Jul 1743; m. Asa Bigelow; d. Jan 1833, aged 90.
2. Amasa Richardson, b. 08 Mar 1744-5; d. 14 Aug 1759, aged 15.
3. Sarah Richardson, b. 24 Oct 1746, mentioned in her father's will, Nov 1771, but died soon after, aged 25. Her will is dated 29 May 1773; proved 28 Jun 1773; recorded Worcester Prob. Records, xii 342. In it she calls herself "Spinster," mentions mother Rebecca, sisters Rebecca Bigelow, Asenath and Miriam, and brother Ezekiel. She makes here kinsman (uncle) Jonathan Richardson, of Brookfield, executor.
4. Solomon Richardson, b. 20 Oct 1748; d. 05 Jun 1771, in Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony, aged 23.
5. Asa Richardson, b. 25 Sep 1752; d. 16 Aug 1759, aged 7.
6. Oliver Richardson, b. 12 Aug 1754; d. 19 Aug 1759, aged 5.

7. Samuel Richardson, b. 23 Oct 1756; d. 22 Aug 1759, aged 4.
8. Ezekiel Richardson, b. 11 Mar 1760; m. Sarah Rice.
9. Asenath Richardson, b. 24 Dec 1761; m. Samuel Lamb; d. Feb 1844, aged 83.
10. Miriam Richardson, b. 02 Dec 1763; m. Jesse Adams; d. Sep 1843; aged 70.
Note: Four of these children died in the month of August, 1759.
Solomon passed away on 05 Jun 1771, in Brookfield, Worcester County, Massachusetts Bay Colony. He was 55 years of age at th time of his death.
Last Will
His will was dated 20 Nov 1771; proved 30 Dec 1771; recorded Worcester Probate xi, 460. In it, he mentions wife Rebecca, daughters Rebecca, Sarah, Asenath, and Miriam, and son Ezekiel, who at that time was the only living son. His executor was Jonathan Richardson, of Brookfield, his elder brother.
