John, the sixth son and youngest of eleven children of Ebenezer Richardson and Elizabeth Shedd was born on 16 March 1763 at Billerica, Massachusetts.[1]
Marriage and Children
John married Bethia Herrick, the daughter of Joseph and Anna (Jackson) Herrick on 5 November 1788 at Lyndeborough, Hillsborough, New Hampshire.[2] John and Bethiah had nine sons. The eldest five were born at Lyndeborough, New Hampshire and the youngest four sons were born at Litchfield, Maine.
John Richardson died in 1830 in his 67th year at Litchfield, Maine.[12]
